Can I suggest using a colour other than blue for highlighting areas of text in this document.  Considering that links are the same colour, it would make the page more readable. Green perhaps? Hellboy1975 01:02, 22 November 2007 (CET)

:Yes, good point. I was reviewing it last night and the same point occurred to me (but I was too idle to do anything about it <g>). Actually, in truth, the problem is rather that I think blue is a really good color for it and couldn't think of another with the same combination of emphasis, clarity and umm... lack of "shoutiness" (<span style="color:red;">red is too "shouty"</span> for instance). What colour would you (or anybody else) suggest? Mike 09:53, 22 November 2007 (CET)
::There, changed it to <span style="color:midnightblue;">midnightblue</span> - how well does that work do you think?
:::Oh, you did suggest a colour: green (Doh! when will I learn to read things through?), but I am using green for comments (the Studio default), which I think also need to stand out.
::The midnight blue is better, and I can understand the hesitation in using green and red.  Not enough colours in the rainbow!Hellboy1975 13:18, 22 November 2007 (CET)
::: After you've used up RGB all that's left is mixtures and intensities... makes you wonder how those artist wallahs manage...  ;-)  On the same general tack, I've started a Style Guide discussion on the main discussion page to see if we can't come up with some agreed conventions.  I am not wedded to any particular way of doing it - I just want it to (a) be clear and comprehensible and (b) look nice.  Mike 14:57, 22 November 2007 (CET)
