Talk:Run only one instance of your application

The advantage of Dalton's method is that it can be placed at desktop, prior to any login dialogs. The "panel" method would not work in my application because the panel isn't created until after the login dialog and the users wouldn't discover the error until after logging in for the second time - kludgy.
