DataFlex is a database programming language created by Data Access Worldwide in the 1980's.
On this wiki we have two main pages about DataFlex - this page mainly descring the Character Mode version (version v 3.2) and Visual DataFlex describing the later versions with functionality for Windows.
History
Dataflex started as a character based language, and eventually evolved into the Windows based Visual Language. Visual DataFlex is a Windows only development environment, while character mode comes in both DOS and Unix flavours.
