VDFQuery

VDFQuery is a collection of general-purpose packages that has been available since 1997. As the name implies, its main attraction is an ad hoc query tool for VDF Windows applications.

The general purpose packages are mainly in the form of global functions, most notably for date manipulation, string manipulation and sequential input/output.

The packages are authored mainly by Sture Andersen but over the versions many developers have contributed bug fixes and extensions, which has led to a fairly stable code base.

The download is free for all to use. It is available from the ftp server of DAW in a number of versions. You may need to browse through the readme files to identify the best version for your version of VDF.
